We initiate and drive the development of biorefineries from concept to full operations. By taking the lead in projects, we reduce delivery risk and accelerate execution. We plan to convert some or all of our equity stakes in the development companies, into equity in the operating plants. We will derive a stream of dividends from those equity stakes in the operating biorefineries. We also expect ongoing revenues from technology supply, service contracts and the licensing of our technology.
We work seamlessly with our partners to deliver modular, fully integrated, financeable, cost-effective and operations-ready biorefineries. Using Velocys’ engineering and operational expertise as well as our proprietary technology, we continuously improve our complete offering.
Our alliances, including manufacturing, gasification, product offtake and feedstock supply, are with strategic partners that have the resources, scale and capabilities to access large, high value markets.
We want to deliver an affordable fuel supply that drives the economy forward as well as meeting environmental concerns.
We believe Velocys’ proven technology, processes and deployment know-how will be in ever-increasing demand from consumers, businesses and governments to deliver renewable fuels at scale.
We expect our readily deployable fuel manufacturing process to be increasingly used in multiple locations close to sources of sustainable feedstocks – places where there is a need to make the most of existing waste materials, a desire for cleaner fuel, a need for local jobs and a sustainable fuel source for the future.

Velocys is currently developing two projects utilising waste materials – a waste biomass to renewable fuel facility in the US and a municipal waste to fuel facility in the UK, demonstrating the applicability of our strategy.
