Separations
Velocys is revolutionizing gas phase separations by reducing equipment size and improving efficiency. Using thermal swing adsorption, opposed to the more common pressure swing, the Velocys separation process incurs significantly less pressure losses, substantially reducing or eliminating the need for gas compression. This advantage enables previously uneconomical separations, including nitrogen rejection from sub-quality natural gas, to be viable commercial processes. Other benefits include:
