Velocys designs, develops and scales up microchannel-based chemical processing systems, which improve the profitability of a wide range of processes by reducing capital costs and improving energy efficiency. We currently work in multiple markets, including next generation biofuels, synthetic fuels, hydrogen and chemicals.
Velocys is engaged in multiple joint development programs with Fortune 100 firms with cumulative investment exceeding $100 million. One example is Velocys' work with Toyo Engineering and MODEC to develop and commercialize a low-cost, modular gas-to-liquid (GTL) production system for offshore applications.
