Frank Daly
Research Fellow
Dr. Frank Daly has more than 30 years of experience in catalysis research and manufacturing, and leads the catalyst development and commercialization efforts at Velocys.
Frank joined Velocys in January 2002 after serving as Vice President of Research and Development for a start-up catalyst company, Apyron Technologies. Previously, he was the Technical Director of Applied Technology for Degussa Corporation, where he was responsible for the development and commercialization of catalyst technology for the Company’s chemical catalyst business in North America. Frank began his career at Air Products and Chemicals, where he supervised heterogeneous catalysis research. He holds 13 US patents in the area of heterogeneous catalysis and has authored 42 publications. Frank has a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island.
